FenSense is a unique integrated perimeter security solution where the fence is a part of the sensing mechanism. FenSense works on the FICID (Fence Impedance Characterization for Intrusion Detection) algorithm (patent applied) in which changes in the signal through the fence are constantly monitored to detect any attempted cut or climbing intrusion. It is a novel solution in which the fence structure – Mesh and Razor coils are itself a part of the sensing system, thereby making it completely discreet as no additional sensors are visible. FenSense’s Integrity Sensor and advanced technology provide highly effective intrusion detection.
FenSense features a modular system design, which allows for quick and straightforward installation. The plug-and-play elements mean that each component can be easily connected without complex setup procedures, significantly reducing the time and effort required for installation.
The system is designed with redundancy in mind, allowing it to be configured in a way that mitigates single points of failure. If one component fails, the redundant configuration ensures that the system continues to operate smoothly, maintaining security without interruption.
FenSense offers adjustable sensitivity through programmable thresholds on individual Fence-PCBs. This feature allows users to fine-tune the system’s response to various types of intrusions, ensuring optimal performance tailored to specific security needs.
Each Fence-PCB, installed every 98 feet, can accurately communicate alarm events within a range of 49 to 98 feet depending on the nature of the intrusion. This high level of precision ensures that security personnel can quickly and accurately locate and respond to potential threats.
FenSense’s advanced FICID algorithm, the system can distinguish between genuine intrusions and harmless events. This technology minimizes false alarms by adjusting sensitivity settings, ensuring that alerts are only triggered by real threats.
The sensors within the FenSense system create a wireless mesh network, which allows for fast and efficient communication between components. This self-aligning network enhances the system’s reliability and simplifies the installation process by automatically optimizing communication paths.
